Vital Channel Changes! Please Read!

Hey guys! I know most of you will be coming from Twitter as I post this. First, hello humans! Now, let me explain these oh so important changes.

For the past few weeks, I've been reasonably maintaining my current upload schedule of every other Wednesday. Do I like it? Yes. It relieves the stress I was feeling prior due to trying to have too much done at once. However, it's not the schedule I'm fretting over this time! No, I'm merely fretting over my channel's appearance. And video quality.

Here's my issue: I get lazy. Oh c'mon, everyone does! Especially when I'm out of video ideas. I begin to procrastinate, until I realize Wednesday morning: "Oh crap, I need a video out today!" It gets a bit out of control.

Moving on, my channel's appearance. I envy those who can make the simplest thumbnails look amazing! Mine are, eh, at best. At the moment, I'm brainstorming solutions on that situation.

So what exactly am I doing? Well, it's definitely vital. Because, I'm deleting pretty much all of my videos and starting with a clean slate.

I know, it's pretty crazy considering I've uploaded over 100 videos! BUT, with summer coming, and my three year anniversary approaching, I want a different vibe for my videos.

When will I be doing it? To be frank, I'm not sure. I get out of school May 29th, and my first official free day of summer vacation probably wont be until some day first or second week of June. Starting June 29th, I have summer PE classes. Meaning I'll be "at school" from, I think, 7 AM - 12 Or 1 PM.

Between my first day of summer vacation, and the day before summer school starts, I want to have all the videos deleted and a few new ones up to demonstrate the theme I'm mulling with.

I'll probably start deleting videos next week, and uploading as soon as I have the time. So when my video count goes down, no I was not hacked. 

Another thing, I WILL be reuploading some videos! Let's say, 'Guines Pig Audio and Sound Guide' I did almost two years ago. That video will be reuploaded, with new, up to date information included. I'll also try to involve the dogs more on the channel, since strictly guinea pig videos could get boring rather fast.

A few last notes:

Blog About my Latest Video

Hey guys! So, since I endured a lot of struggle producing my latest video, I figured I blog it all out.
(Vitamins and Guinea Pigs? Just went live on my channel!)

Struggle #1: My speech issues.
I swear, I'm constantly tripping over my own words! Sometimes I say something before I'm supposed to, and I confuse myself. I then have to figure out what I said wrong, which makes an awkward pause in the middle of filming. And sure, a few times, it's funny and I'm like "Alright, those are going in the bloopers at the end!" But after filming the same clip 5 times, it's unbelievably frustrating.

Struggle #2: The girls would not sit still!
I get it, they're guinea pigs and they don't get out much. But, I turned my head for a moment, and Milkshake's chomping at one of my AUX cords! (I stopped her before she could hurt herself of course, but it's rather annoying.)

Struggle #3: Getting them out of their cage.
Mia is a rather shy pig. She doesn't like to be touched a lot, mostly only if I have treats or she's tired.
But sometimes, they both chose to be rebels. Sometimes I literally have to step into their cage to get them out, which is also very frustrating. I feel bad. It's apparent that they don't want to be bothered, but I still needed to do a video and their cage was too dirty to film the usual.

Struggle #4: Editing and uploading.
Don't get me wrong, I adore editing! It's fun making some boring clips more interesting. It's just, Final Cut Pro likes to lag sometimes. And that worries me, because the clips come out looking choppy with low frames. I panic, because it's like last minute editing (my fault, yes.) I need this video to work!! In the end, it comes out in the usual 720p HD it's supposed to, but still; nerve racking.

Struggle #5: Anxiety about publishing.
I really, really hate being told I did something wrong. No, I don't mean like someone telling me my title has a grammatical error. I mean, I fear that I have ever single aspect of the video wrong.
False information is NEVER okay in the pet community. In fact, it's like an enormity. I wouldn't want to click on a video and be told things that weren't right, would you? And I hate it. There's been times where I deleted the video because I was too afraid I had something wrong. It's pretty intense.

Struggle #6: The play back.
Most of the times, I play my videos back one last time after it's uploaded. It's like the last check, y'know? I'm pretty sure everyone has this struggle, but I hate listening to my own voice! It's horrid! Sometimes I question how I talk to everyday people and they don't get annoyed with me xD
